Tranny problems...dealer verified it, but won't repair..
My tranny shifts hard and its not that smooth..so i took it in the green valley subaru, I had a technician drive the car while I was in it and he verified that it didn't feel right, but he said to just wait and let it "break in"...the car has 4500 miles on it..how much longer does it take to break in...He said over time it should go away, and he said if it doesnt after another 15,000 miles then to bring it back in..I dont want to drive around for another 15,000 miles and wait for a problem to happen....I know there is a problem and I want it taken care of..What do you guys recomened?

15k miles?! Pretty absurd recommendation if you ask me. At that point any tranny warranty will be void seeing as how claims are coming in left and right from enthusiasts. I'd talk to a service manager.

Shifting Tough?
Hello,
I think many of us initially felt like that, but if you launch hard a few times, and it will shift much smoother (hence break-in). Do a search and you find similar experience shared by others. I have 14,000miles and it shifts pretty good.
Good luck (Don't forget it is AWD, Trubo + 227 hp!) and have a great day!

FWIW, I like how my tranny feels a bit stiff and notchy. I drove a Passat over the weekend and the tranny felt so vague, very unenjoyable to row through the gears imo.

Well on the R.O. it said "checked for transmission problem, no problem found at this time" is that enough, or should I get more from them?
What should I have them type in on the R.O.?

You of asked them to put in writing that they want you to continue driving the car with a potential problem. Mechanics know that a problem is often not a consistent thing that they can duplicate every time. It should of at the very least said what transmission problem you brought it in for.
