Squeak when depressing clutch pedal
My 05 sti is making a squeaking sound each time I step on the clutch pedal. It seems to come from the spring that is closest to the firewall but even after a liberal amount of grease it still does it. Anyone ever dealt with this before or know how to fix?
I know it's a trivial request but i'd like to fix it.
Thanks

My forester had a similar (the same?) problem recently. Sounded like it was coming from the pedal assembly but it was actually the clutch fork. The dealer pulled the tranny, regreased it and everything has been fine since then.
Apparently they didn't bother to grease it when they built the car. Go figure.
