clutch engagement
Hi,
I'm also new to manual shifting in a 2004 wrx. I have always been tought to press the clutch all the way to the floor and then when it catches, ease on the gas to make the transition. After experiment, I've found that the easiest way to shift the wrx is to press the clutch in just past the engagement point. I've found that it's harder to "jump the gun" and give it too much gas and get a jerky shift.
Any opinions to the benefits/drawbacks to this method? Thanks!
