RWD conversion

Get a different car. Conversion isn't worth the trouble unless you build an all-out drift car. The rear diff wasn't designed to handle 100% of the power directed towards it under drift conditions. A recent magazine article featured a Subaru drift car that used a rear differential from a Skyline.

yea if u can find a wrecked wrx go buy the center diff off it. you can weld it in place so that it will send all power to the rear. they also sell a kit to convert it but its like 800 bucks.
i did the diff to my car its alot of fun with that much power to the rear wheels. it really makes freeway driving a bit more spirited
btw... u can do donuts in a suby. just takes a lil more skill

You might try getting an adjustable rear anti-sway bar and setting it to full stiffness to make an AWD car a little more tail happy. Some folks use this setting for autocross to get the rear to rotate around tight turns.
