PAR gearset installed and working

It has now been 4 1/2 months since I broke my 2nd stock tranny.
I decided to buy the PAR gearset about a month or so after breaking the last one. Then it took forever at the tranny shop etc. Now that it is in a running, I have put a little over 600 miles on it. 1st gear is straight cut and is pretty loud, 2nd is loud also, and 3rd is loud and pretty high pitch at certain rpm's(really whiny when decelerating), 4th is barely any louder than stock, and fifth is the subaru stock gear. The only thing I am not sure about is a noise that sounds like it comes from my rear end. It is clunking and mainly does it while decelerating and sometimes on bumpy roads. Before I broke the last tranny, I never heard any noise like this. When I had the car on the rack at the tranny shop the sound came from the rear end and the two support bars that go in line with the rear end. The noise comes from where the bars mount to the car(a big bushing also). I could grab the tire and jerk it back and forward and recreate the noise. I cannot quite figure this noise out, but the tranny seems to feel good and run smooth, besides being way louder than stock. To the normal person I drive by, it probably sounds like there is something wrong with my car. Definitely noticable. Has anybody else had this set that can compare the noise difference or what can be expected? I understand that 1st should be loud, but am not sure how loud 2nd and 3rd should be. And maybe somebody can help with that noise from the rear end???????

I hope this one stays together for a good amount of time...........

I bought mine from ImprezaRS.com. Larry gets them from the company PAR engineering in AUS.

1st is the only gear that is straight cut, but 1-3 are noisy.
