Need help identifying rear axles
Either I have lost my mind or I am too hung-over from partying on New Years but I can't for the life of me find that thread that has lots of photos and descriptions of various rear axles for identification purposes.
We are down to our last set of axles for one of our race cars and we desperately need more before a race later this month.
The diff. the axles are being used in we think (no markings like most diffs) is originally from a V2 STi. It does have a 3.9 LSD in it-which we know for sure. It's definitely an R160 unit but the axles stubs that fit into it (or DOJ's) are much different than the newer WRX's.
In the image below, the one we need is on the left-with a stock WRX one on the right. The overall length of the stub that fits into the diff is much short and the retaining rings groove is in a different spot (so obviously WRX axles won't work at all.)
The only markings on it are: "DOJ 82 AC 40" and some other casting marks that I don't think mean anything (I hope.)
Other than this diff side of the axle, it's the same as a WRX or an other R160 hubbed Subie.
Does anyone have any clue about the vehicle these are from and if so, and part numbers? We really only need the DOJ part but complete axles would be great too.
Thanks in advance, like usual...

From Ver.III on Nasioc:
"...its the older style shafts for the Sti plated LSD's .
Inner joints: RH - 28092FA030, LH - 28092FA040
Shaft complete : RH - 28021FA161, LH - 28021FA171"
Dave at Rallispec seems to think those part numbers are correct too-and of course they are only JDM.
If anyone has any older (VI-V3) STi rear axles around-with at least good DOJ's please let us know because we can mate them to WRX axles!
