Talking the limits of the auto tranny.

This is just a question for anyone with an automatic 2002 or 2003 WRX. I've been reading about the launch techniques and it is pretty fun "torque breaking"...I haven't tried the drive 2 then to drive 1 method though. My question is for anyone who has mods on their automatic wrx. I'm planning to go to turbo XS stage 1 or 2. I know the engine will be fine, but how about the auto tranny? Anyone have any experience with this? Also do I need a better torque converter? or will this just increase performance? I look forward to your input! Thanks.
