How much torque can the R160 take (for RWD conversion)?

In form of RWD !
So I just want to know if it safe to drive RWD impreza rs with some cai/cams/exhust and pp6.....
I don't need to be 4wd since there is no rain/snow in my area :clap:

sorry, can't really help. i would imagine that with the mods listed you still have a little room to grow. for the wrx guys trying the rwd thing, they have been using the r180. but the wrx has a little more power than the rs.

The question isn't how much power, it's how much traction. You can run 1000hp to it if you want, but since the tires will break free at 220, no problem.
I have a Cusco Tarmac Gear Center diff that puts a LOT of power to the rear. My original rear diff had a lot of missing teeth on the pinion and chips on the ring. SOOOOOO...
I had my new rear ring and pinion cyro treated by AIM (Advisor In metals). They claim up to 200% stronger ring and pinion with the cryo treatment. Since then I have put 458 ftlbs of torque to the wheels on a mustang dyno. I inspected the ring and pinion recently and I have 0 chips or missing teeth. I'm also running a Cusco Rear LSD.
I am still traction limited. If I roll on in 2nd or 3rd gear I break the rear tires loose. On the dyno, the power was going to all 4 tires.
