It sounds like your tranny is jacked. Reverse is neutral and neutral is a gear? Sounds like you need to have someone look at it, either the dealer or something who knows what they are doing. That's just too weird.

BTW, I don't see how your tranny could "switch" gears just because it was low on fluid.

I think when you were getting your oil changed...

Walmart may have drained the tranny fluid instead of the engine oil

i have to agree with that idea, i worked at a garage up until last week, we had a few people come in with tranny complains after going to those in and out lude places, theyd drain the tranny and fill the engine oil. morons

WalMart is famous for this kind of thing. Usually they either forget to fill up the engine oil, or forget to put the drain plug in before they fill it. Either way, I saw about one customer per month when I worked in a service department that blew a motor thanks to Wal-Mart/Jiffy Lube/etc. Have a dealer examine it, and if there is damage to the transmission, WalMart is liable for the repairs. You probably won't even have to fight them over it- they know their "technicians" are dumbasses.
