I had oil change(4 quantity PZL high mile 10W30 and
one quantity PRO 359 PH3593 APR ER) from WalMart this Monday.

After the oil change, my car has been not running
properly. Since it was snowing heavy and bad road condition, so I ignored that jumpy. Until yesterday(1/29/04), my car doesn't go
reverse. So I went to a store(Pennzoil in Pittsburgh,
PA) to check the problem. They found out the
transmission fluid was almost drained. They filled up
about 4 qt. of transmission fluid. They also found the
engine oil was overfilled about 2 qt. However, my car
still doesn't go reverse after top off the transmission fluid.
By the way, the Reverse gear has became Neutral gear, and he Neutral has became another Drive gear.

Is my transmission damage already? What should I do now? Folks....

The tranny was normal....it switchs after I drove 3 days, and the Reverse was gone at the same day. I drove about 200 miles under the condition.-_-'

I just went to WalMart to ask for compensation. However , they ask me to drop off my car tomorrow morning and will have someone to look at it......but I doubt WalMart has the ability to fix it......

 

as wierd as it sounds...i had this happen to me in my old car. i don't know what caused it...because i changed it over to a 5 speed right afterwards. what better time to swap it than when it's gonna cost more to rebuild it than to swap it.

you're doing what i would suggest...ask for compensation.
