Is this a Group N STI 6 Speed Tranny Mount?

Bought off of ebay just wanted to verify that it's not the stock one. My mount that came on my JDM STI tranny looks similar but not seems to be softer material. I haven't gotten a chance to really look at them side by side since the one I received with the tranny is on my car at the moment.

TIA

Jon

Update

I went to install the new "GroupN" 6 Speed Transmission Mount that I purchased only to discover that the one that is already on my JDM MY03 STI Transmission looks exactly the same. The only difference is that the one I just purchased has a -A at the end of the part number and the rubber feels slightly more stiff (not by much)

I've already contacted the seller and am awaiting his response.

Is this still a Group N mount for the 6 Speed?

Jon

- The transmission that I purchased was from FLI.

It's definitely possible that a used transmission could come with a Group N mount. That mod is as popular in Japan as it is in the US.

I just went through this. I purchased the group-n tranny mount and i got the same part you received. On the group-n website it lists the part number as starting with "ST", but on the SPT website the part number starts with "D1". There is a member on i-club that works at the subaru parts department in Marin, so I asked him if it was indeed the same part as the part starting with the "ST" part number and he said it was. when i swapped out my old mount for the new one i noticed that the old mount was a lot softer and much easier to compress. Hope that helps.

the picture of the part number has the ST part number behind it and on the other side of the box has the packing label which has the same number on it.

the one that I got is only marginally softer very little notice but since the mount that I'm comparing it to is new I guess after heat gets to it, it will be the same feel

its possible you do have the group-n mount already. when i compared my stock mount to the new mount there was a lot more give to the stock mount.

not a lot just a little but i'm saying it's due to heat soak into the mount. it's not at all like the 5speed group N mount where it's all shiney and you can tell it's upgraded.
