@30,455 miles my '03 has had ZERO problems. i drive hard often but never abuse. i know that 1st and second gears are weak(quote from friend-svc mgr-who in turn states that subaru will not disclose this publicly...but acertains that it is strong enough for daily use) and will not be covered if they determine abuse.(photos will be taken) but i think common sense rules here: race=constant tuning maint(including your tranny)
