FWD to AWD conversion questions... interchageable parts?

FWD to AWD conversion questions... interchageable parts?
Does anyone know if the I can use the rear section of a WRX or legacy turbo drivetrain (driveshaft back) to convert my impreza L into AWD?
Aside from the ratio of the rear diff, will I be coming accross any other problems?
Will the Gas tank from these cars fit?
how about the rear crossmember?
I'm thinking the rear section of the legacy would be more likely to fit, but just looking for other options...
Any help would be appreciated...
