does a clutch "break in"?
Hey everyone, I have an 05 rs with about 14000 miles on it. I took it into the dealership for a rattling glove box and when i got it back the clutch felt a little different. The clutch has always chattered a little, and I'm pretty sure that that's "normal" when I got my car back, no more chatter. The pedal seemes to go in and out with less effort now. I don't know how far the dealership drove my car, hopefully not far, but the clutch really seems different. My question is, do you think I am imagining this, do you think the dealer could have driven my car really hard, or is this just part of the way a clutch wears out or breaks in? Should I be concerned? Thanks and I'm sorry if this sounds silly.

thanks, i figured that 14000 miles was way too many for breaking it in. I didn't ask if they adjusted it, it never really crossed my mind, since i brought it in for unrelated issues and never mentioned anything about the clutch. Maybe they decided it needed adjusting, I'll call and see if they did anything. Thanks, if anyone else has any ideas, i'd like to hear. The clutch doesn't seem to be slipping at all, but it feels different.
