I just replaced my clutch with a new stock one and everything was running smooth for about a week. Then when I would put my car in reverse, this sound would start and it is continually getting worse. Now I can hear it whenever I start my car and especially when I'm shifting into 1st or reverse. I assumed that it was my clutch making the noise, but when I put my ear up to it I figured out it was coming from the gas pedal and I can also feel the crackling through the pedal as well. If anyone has any idea what this is please let me know. I know that I can always take it back to the dealer, but that is a pain in my @!$ so I would prefer not to. Please help!!
