case flex fix?

OK, it seems to me that most of us agree on case flex being the issue with our tranny's in our WRX's. Why dosent someone make an aftermarket case? I look at our tranny compared to the STI and you can see the 6MT has all sorts of supports and reinforcements when our case is damn near smooth. seems to me a cost efective way to fix this is get an aftermarket case. I would be more than happy to pay a $1000 for a case and a good set of gears to avoid the cost of the 6MT swap.

That does seem logical. I don't know if anyone makes an aftermarket case, though... Anyone???

i've never seen one. as much time as i've spent online, if it existed, i would think i would've found it by now. my guess is that given he cost of a 6MT swap, most companies don't see it as cost effective. i'm sure there are some patent and manufacturing rights issues there too.
