Blown Main shaft in tranny
Well this is a post of KUDOS to Gerald Subaru in Naperville IL. I took my car in with 11,000mi of happy WRX driving with a broken tooth on the main shaft, you could here it in every gear, dropped it off at 4:58pm on Friday and they had me out of there with a loaner 2004 forester. Got a call saying they were rebuilding the Tranny and had replaced the clutch since it was done for all under warranty. They called me today saying there was a pinhole leak found in the radiator return line which they were also fixing. Couple of things here, great customer service and mechanics who seem to give a ****, thanks guys. Now its time for the Cobb reflash and those front and rear MRT roll bars, mounts and ALK I got. Decided to go a different route on the car, STEALTH I plan to keep it stock looking and quite, but fast as Hell. going for a stealth cat-back and headers with a Ganzflow intake, should be fun being undercover.

Sounds like a good plan, but there is no Ganzflow for the WRX. In fact, you would be better off without an aftermarket intake entirely. Be sure to leave a dealer review for these guys- too many of them are negative.

NO ganzflow AHHHHH
Damn I had a Ganzflow for my 99 2.5rs and loved the sound of the intake. I have read many problems connected with CAI's and the MAF sensors. Guess I ll just make a velocity stack for the stock airbox and replace the corregated intake snorkel with a smooth flowing silicone one, thanks for the info, you saved me a headache.
