ACT pro-lite flywheel pilot bearing fitment issues?

I orderd ACT part #600180 and the dealer is saying that the OE piolet bearing is loose (not a firm fit) and they're concerned that it will cause the imput shaft to not be properly aligned and slwly deteroriate the transmission. ACT told me the part was PB1004 and I'm having the dealer verify that, but in the mean while, has anyone experienced similar and how did they proceed?

I have a 97 outback, but it's the same parts for a 97-2001 2.5RS.
