O.K. I have an 02 wagon w/ 4eat. The turbo lag drove me nuts, so I gutted the factory up-pipe. That dropped the spool down by around 500 rpm's, and made a world of difference. Put in a K&N flat filter, Daddy's high flow d/p & 3CE 3rd. cat eliminator, to a Stromung twin tip, & a Hayden tranny oil cooler, along w/ an Autometer # gauge cluster w/ boost-clock-& EGT, and an STI scoop, along w/ taking off the splitter. With that I tuned a 0-60 @ 6.1 seconds from a dead stop and no brake torqing. Not bad!
I have since installed an infamous Momentum 40T, 850cc modded injectors, & Walbro pump, along w/ a Protune on my A/P. Oh, I was running Stg. 2 -93- HWG on that previous run. I am getting a bit of surging w/ my current setup, so I think that a little tinkering w/ the pill, and porting on the turbo is in order.
I have had "O" problems other than the surge, and that happens during accelleration at less than WFO only. so I am HAPPY!

I got a auto. The wife drives it most of the time, but it is nice to be able to put it in gear and aim. I'm looking at getting another, but will most likely get a manual. One of each should split the bill.
