14.0 w/ cobb stage 2?

What altitude was the track you were running at? I did the run below 2 weeks ago at a track that was 1500'. The only mods were a K&N drop-in, Helix uppipe, Unichip, and TurboXS HPMBC set at 14.5psi. I was bouncing off the rev limiter through most of the speed trap. When I had my Helix downpipe and Cobb catback, I had a best 1/8th mile of 8.604 @ 79.80, which would've been around 13.5 or so in the 1/4.

60': 1.889
330': 5.651
660': 8.821 @ 77.12
1320: 13.906 @ 95.90

yea my times are very similar to yours drkicker. a 1.8" 60ft, a 13.9 (14.0) 1/4 mi time, and a 95mph trap speed. I guess cuz we are pushing the same amount of boost (14.5 psi). im not sure what altitude the track is. it's sacramento raceway, does anybody know?

im waiting for my accessport to reflash my car to the new stage 2 program. if that doesn't work, then im going to try the new high wastegate map. if THAT doesn't work, i guess my last resort is to upgrade to a better downpipe design and get an uppipe (although i've heard that these two parts don't affect max boost pressure.)

i also figured im basically running a stage 1 right now since i'm pushing around the target boost for stage 1 (14.5 psi). and cobb advertises their stage 1 users at 13.9 in the 1/4 mile. so it seems logical to me that im around a stage 1 right now instead of stage 2.

i feel the same..i'm at stage 2 with helix up/dp,blitz nur spec/hks carbon ti (rotates from time to time),cobb ap...and i'm in the same boat...running consistant 14.0's and 14.1's and still cant break into the 13 sec mark..several guys with stage 2 breaking 13's..damm i must be doing something wrong..

no, not really.......the cobb stg 2 doesnt make much more power than the stock ecu.

my fastest and quickest time is w/mbc @15psi stock computer.

It's @ sea level ... 50' maybe ... Kind of looks like it's your shifting, or when you're shifting anyhow ... Try the 1-2 @ 7100, 2-3 @ 7100, and 3-4 @ 7000 ... You should be grabbing the 3-4 shift about 100-150ft before the line ... I don't agree with running out 3rd, as it tops out @ 96mph +/- a couple ... Though many still do it for some reason ...

Why do you not have an up-pipe with the stage2? I believe you would see more gains with the addtion of the up.

you should def. hit 13's man.
i just ran last night, the track is about 2500ft above sea level.

my best was:
60ft - 1.870
I2 - 5.626
I3 - 8.856
I4 - 11.562
E.T. 13.994
MPH - 95.269

all i got is short ram intake and turboback exhaust.
didnt strip the rear and still had spare in trunk.
