MY04 STi spec C.

it has really small battery terminals and i finally found out that spec c's come with smaller batteries. Has tranny cooler lines which were cut, and no A/C.

also have the tranny in it

TY856WB3JA - still havent found all the specs on it besides dccd.

Spec C's have EJ or ER as the engine code ending.

J = no AC.
C = non-Spec-C.

Let me look up my records and I will tell you exaclty what you had.

trust me i know what i have

its a spec C limited.

it has a vf36
no ac
really small battery terminals
tranny cooler lines on tranny

DW5EJ and DW5CJ are both spec C. When i posted on nasioc i thoguht i didnt have spec C then someone in japan duo maxwell, posted that there are different variations of spec C's. Its not a True dw5EJ spec C, but rather a limited one.

your post makes perfect sense, but what about the vf36 spec C turbo, the small battery terminals, and the tranny cooler lines found on spec c?

also can u look up my tranny for me ?

Weird, I guess they keep switching everything around.

I got DW4ER. I figured it was MY02 STi Limited, which is basically Spec C with AC and power windows and stuff.

there are so many dw4er's around, and everyone that see one/has one is like WOW s202!! I know because i did the same thing when i was picking out my engine. But an s202 is just a ver7 ra spec C engine, but with a more aggressive ecu and titanium exhaust and red intake pipe. We can do that ourselfs.

Yeah, S202 is also DW4ER, hehe.

S202 has VF34 and red intake pipe.
STi Limited has normal intake and VF30.

And, of course, the ECU's are mapped differently.

That all it matters for the swap guys, as thats the only parts that come with the motors.

But, the actual long block is the same for both S202, Spec C and the STi limited.
