JDM supplier, beware
Good Day
My name is Jerry Barvinek and I would like to ensure that none of you get taken of your money the same way I did. Back in October 2003 I had the ‘opportunity ‘ to bid on a RB20DET, a Nissan Skyline engine; on Ebay from a company named <http://visualizemotorsports.com/> . My plan was to install this engine into my 1971 Datsun 240Z and make a modern performing classic. In any event I was unfortunate enough to win.
As it turned out I sent a certified check to Aaron Fein in Ocala, Florida for $2284US and was assured a 3 week delivery to my door. After many emails and a few phone calls, I started to worry that this deal was getting very sour. He did respond but very vaguely obviously stalling. As the weeks went by it became obvious that nothing was going to happen. Eventually all contact from Mr. Fein to myself ended.
Anyway, its over a year now, the money is lost, and the web site is still there ........I'm assuming still ripping people off! . Yes, I learned from this experience but wish that nobody else goes through the same let down.
Buyer Beware! Take Care!

I know this is a decently old thread, but I saw this on the search page and just had to sign up and tell what happened. My name Justin Winston, I live not far outside of Ocala. I know Aaron, and I just wanted to let you know.. he's not a bad guy. Well, he can be evasive, and an ***, but he really doesn't make a habbit of ripping people off. He started Visualize Motorsports with a friend of his, and this friend didn't come up with his side of the cash when he was supposed to. So even though Aaron had already worked out a deal in Japan, he couldn't pay them the full amount he promised.. which meant no motors. Well Aaron was trying to work all this out when someone filed a complaint with Paypal and froze his account. Froze most of his assetts from what I'm told. He couldn't get it back open because of unknown reasons. Well, it just kept getting worse, and finally Aaron had to ditch and run. He filed Bankruptcy about a year ago. But just to let you guys know, I found out tonight that he's in the hospital in critical condition from 2 ceasures he had during work. His website is only still up because he's locked out of it. There were some others who lost alot of there money too. But let me tell you guys, Aaron has kept all contact information, and plans on paying as much back as he can. He's already paid 2 people back. He just doesn't want to contact some people to have them get aggrivated. So I just wanted you to know. Don't think of him as a bad guy. I don't want him dying with people hating him. Thanks

He obviously cashed it before he knew that his partner couldn't come through. He needed $5,000 to pay the company on top of the price of the motors, for the wholesale acount. I'm not debating that he didn't end up screwing someone over, which was wrong of him. I just want people to know he's not a con.

Never negotiate a contract for a business without having all required funds ready up front. He may or may not be a con, but he is definately a **** poor business man.
Get the cash (aka capital), start the business....not the other way around.
That way you lose your money and not some customers.

seems to me that anyone who has a business has a responsibility to deliver what they promised to their customers. I agree with everybody else--contact the FBI. ...Maybe when he gets out of the hospital, he will face some legal action. sounds like this guy has really screwed a lot of people, especially for a person who is "not a bad guy"
