JDM 6MT. DCCD or NOT?
I'm installing a JDM 6MT transmission in my 1998 Impreza GT Wagon. Then I noticed these wires:
My transmission ID is ED-TY856WB3KA
Is it a DCCD? Suretrack?

Thanks! I also found the same information on Rallispec.com.
I'm a happy man now, I paid for a standard JDM 6MT without DCCD or Suretrac

so did I... but I for one do NOT want the DCCD but want the suretrack due to the wiring involved but since I'm converting my entire car then it's not so bad

I'm buying one of these!
The most complicated part of this conversion wasn't the gearbox, that went straight in. The problem was the rear differential, I had to change from R160 3.545 to 3.9. Unfortunately, the R160 3.9 unit was an OPEN diff - and didn't fit my driveaxles. Then I had to machine the new 3.9 differential case to accept the LSD-unit. Now I have to adjust backlash, gear matching and preload...
