Does anyone know if it's been done, or anything about a conversion ?

 

i don't think that would work without serious fabrication work. and serious loads of cash. the only available engine was an inline 3 right? it sounds like a great idea, an 1800lb car with 250hp. what would be really cool is to modify one of those justy cvt's (continuosly variable transmissions) so that it could handle 400hp then hook a super peaked out ej20 to it. Then you could just tune it to run very efficiently at it's peak torque range -it would be the fastest car, probably, ever.

 

The justy's are inline 3cyl with a cvt right? I've never heard of it being done. But that Brat from NZ with the sti swap was sick.

 

Yeah, the Justy is an inline 3cyl motor. It don't know if an EJ20 would fit, but it certainly doesn't have the correct engine mount points.

Everything is doable, though, it just depends on how much money you are willing to throw at it.
