yeah tell me about it.lol tranny housing cracked today so i gotta go get it welded tomorrow if not i have a new one lined up so i can replace it but oh well were still ahead of were we should be so all in all were still ahead of schedule

could of been both or to much torque on the bolts but it was only a 1/8th of an inch left b4 it would have been bolted up then snap

were you tigntening them evenly all the way around? I usualy go four turns on each all the way around keeps the locating pins from binding..
thats just some bumb luck man sorry bout the set back but im glad to see that your wanting to fix it right.. I know alot of people that would just bolt it up and hope it holds.

yeh i know man but no short cuts here. well we welded it today and then it bolted up this time and the motor and ranny are in nd also the front cross member and susp. is in too so it was a great day today will post pics later tonight

I gotta say , you sure dont mess around on a project do ya?
i would be the type to take a long project like this and just find something to drive daily and do a little at a time over a month or so .. but getting that much done in one week!! thats nuts.

i know huh lol tho we really only get to work for like 3-5 hours if lucky a day only 3-4 times a week if lucky cause i have my son on the weekend well will see if we can get something done this weekend.
