6 speed swap, no reverse lights
how do i get my reverse lights to work with an 03 wrx and jdm 6 speed w/ dccd?
everything else seems to be working fine except i don't have reverse lights

so i've decided to figure it out myself...
here is what i did.
I connected the 6 pin connector that goes to the transmission from the DCCD wire harness (i was fortunate enough to have everything required to connect my DCCD into my WRX).
I then located the Green/Black and Brown/Yellow wire of that harness pins 3 and 6 respectively. I then spliced them into 02/03 WRX car wireharness (4 pin) with the same colors (Green/Black and Brown/ wire, pins 1 and 2 respectively)
I checked the car by turning the car to the ON position then putting the transmission into reverse.
Next was the neutral position sensor on the transmission. I recommend doing this since without connecting this sensor my car felt sluggish and didn't feel peppy at all... very hard to explain but it was a big difference between the way the car drove after connecting it (in a good way
)
The other 2 wires on the 02/03 WRX car wireharness should be Green/Black and Black/Red. I spliced the Green/White of the DCCD wire harness to the Green/Black of the WRX harness and the Green/Red of the DCCD wire harness to the Black/Red of the WRX harness.
