I agree nothing is more annoying than a big *** thread that if your new you feel like you have to read through and waste a bunch of time doing so.
The way sacforcefed.com use to do it was they would have 1 thread that was there thursday night meets that everyone would post in and talk about and they would put out a roster list, so they knew how many people were going.
After the meet they would leave it open for a couple days for discussion and this close the thread and start a new one for the new meet.

That's a good idea but none of us have mod status to do that for every meet. I'm putting togther a beta Meet/Event thread right now and I can just paste the link of another thread in that one.

Who cares if we cant have control to close it. It will die down anyways after the meet.
