Group Drive Idea's 03/01/2008?
I wanted to advise to call me sat moring before u drive out there, i dont have a comp! 530-566-2905
hey
so i wanted to organize a group drive/cruise. no crazyness involved. just a fun road going a few mph over the speed limit.
i think i found a pretty fun road that will allow us to have fun, yet still stay within reach of the speed limit. there are some serious turns and the road is in pretty good shape compared to some in the 'lode. i have a 9 minute in car vid, but no editing software to get it small enough to fit on youtube.
from 5 take the diablo grande parkway exit, turn right onto del puerto canyon road. follow for a about 25 miles and then head north on mines rd, which takes us all the way into livermore. tonight i drove the first section (del puerto) and it took me like 35 minutes. i turned around when i hit the santa clara county line. there are some rec vehicle parks up there and places to rest and hang out. the scenery looked pretty cool, full moon was out.
