No idea! I'm not even sure if he was with us.. but it is quite a coincidence if he wasn't. Saw him already pulled over by two patrol cars at about 9 in the morning while driving to the meeting spot. About half an hour later we saw it on a flatbed. Never saw or talked to the driver and I didn't think pulling over to talk to the cops were a very smart move.

I heard from a friend who went that it wasn't all that great. 4 dollar bridge toll, 8 dollar parking fee, and 5 dollar entrance fee. Also, it was "over hyped". Granted, I didn't attend, so I don't know how it really was.

Your friend is a cheap ****. The day was awesome, great Subys, great food, thousands of dollars raised to save unwanted animals and great fun. Tell him to sell his suby, buy a honda and GTFO.

Seeing that you're both from the bay area, how about you tell him in person? I'll gladly PM you his name/number.

You could've def. handled that in a better tone.

and to rick, $17 for a big event with most proceeds of raffles and other things going to a great cause is worth it. It's not like this event is a monthly thing. Once a year, at $17 is nothing. I understand that there is people out there right now going through some financial hardships and that's fine but don't shoot down the event for something like that when its going to a good cause. If you don't like it, don't go and keep shut about it.

Also, if there was someone riding with you, like there were a lot of people that showed up, that takes another $6 total off your tab since you are splitting toll and park fee.

He didn't say that the toll and parking was part of it, just mentioning that the day brought a lot of money raised for the unwanted animals. The chicken was pretty good, standard hot dogs and hamburgers. BUT YOU PAID $5 to eat and drink as MUCH AS YOU WANTED. Also, there were ribs that were donated by Paul which were awesome. So, ya probably shouldn't talk **** about the event.
