Smile Bay Area: WTS / WTT S13 (Kouki Converted) 1989 240sx with DET

Hi all, just new to the forums, but I'm pretty good on sr20forum.com.

Want to sell / trade this car (winter season comes, snow comes, so does 4wd!, If you have a 2.5RS for sale/trade tell me.. or something of similar values)

Specs:

1989 240sx with a Redtop-SR20DET swapped in. The swap was done by garageworks in Palmdale (LA). Engine has approximately 75000 KM on it (50000 US miles). Entire car was just reflushed with Royal Purple Synthetic racing fluids (engine oil, transmission oil, LSD fluid). Note, the body has 200k on it, but all mounts and suspension items have been replaced with items from the 180sx clip I recieved. The ODO died at 73000KM (shorted the a/f guage, which shorted the cluster unfortunately. You can get one at Venus Auto in Sacramento for 20$, albiet with the wrong engine mileage).

ENGINE

The modifications that are done to the engine are a re-routed side-mount intercooler which makes the turbo spool up very quick, HKS super sequencial Blowoff valve, HKS intake, Apexi N1 80mm exhaust and 80mm piping thats one piece from the turbo elbow. A 255 walbro fuel pump and tuned Apexi SAFC. And NGK iridium plugs.

DRIVETRAIN / INTERIOR

The drivetrain mods are a centerforce dual friction clutch and a Viscous LSD in the rear. There is a Nismo short shifter. The front brakes have been upgraded to the J-spec 180sx which is wider and larger in diameter compared to the US-spec models. I think that the J-spec is 11 inches in diameter and the US-spec is 10 inches. It also rides on TEIN Winding master HE damper system with camber plates. which is fully ride height adjustable and 21 way dampening adjustable. I also have a second gen Apexi S-AFC, HKS type O turbo timer, HKS boost gauge and air/fuel ratio gauge. The interior of the car is in great condition. The dash is very clean (one head crack) and the seats are very comfertable and in great shape.

EXTERIOR

The mods to the exterior include a JDM front bumper with JDM turn signals and side markers. I dont remember what the brand of the side skirts are but the wing is the real Wangan wing from japan. The paint is very new just painted two weeks ago (no clearcoat, the buyer would need to repaint it after rainy season) and I have 17 inch rims...




I am only selling the car because I need a FWD / 4wd car for ski season.

Any TRADES welcome. No lowball offers, this car is worth a good 8-10k from the suspension and engine alone. (Tien HE = 1500, 180sx rear end = 2000, 180sx front end = 1000, engine = 4000 after installation).

1- Note, the v-mount intercooler has been moved to the side. - Last night the vmount didn't get enough air, and melted the clutch fan. Clutch fan has been replaced with another one, and the sidemount was put back.
2- Also, there is a chattering noise from 2200-3000 rpm. Its one of two things, either the driveshaft bearing needs to be replaced (150$ quoted from mechanic in Berkeley, part costs 50$ and is fairly easy to get off any SR20 clip, I dont have the time to resource it myself being a student).
3- Tires need to be replaced. 400$ for a nice set with mounting from tire-rack or such.
