First of all, the car is located in Sacramento, california.
this car has been set up to be a dedicated track car, but is street legal with the addition of the stock cat. I drove it back and forth between the track (mostly thunderhill and Reno-fernley) and home.

Here are the specs on the car:

2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII - Track / Time Trial
This is a meticulously constructed Track/Time Trial car than can be street legal just by bolting on the stock cat and muffler, which is included in the sale. The car has been stripped of all carpeting, headliner, plastic trim, trunk panels, carpeting, all sound-deadening equipment under carpet, and the rear-seats. Approximately 200 pounds of total weight reduction. Doors are in Stock condition, Stereo is intact.



ENGINE: WORKS TR-340 Package, Exhaust, Cams, Throttle Body. ECUTEK tune, TME Turbo with 1000 miles on it, ARP head studs, Walbro Fuel Pump, MR BOV, Samco intercooler and Coolant hoses, RRE “stealthcat”, QUAIFE limited slip differential. Power: 290 WHP/263 torque, Gruppe S. Mustang Dyno (400 HP to the crank)


SUSPENSION AND BRAKING: Muellerized Buddy Club coilover suspension, 5-Zigen 17X9 race wheels, stock wheels,

1 set of 275-40-17 Hoosiers with 8 20 min sessions on them, 1 set of Toyo RA-1 tires with approx 3 events left in them, RRE 25mm rear swaybar, Whiteline rear trailing arm bushings, RacingBrake front BBK, Rear two piece Rotors, Hawk HPS street pads with 90% pad left, APR full carbon fiber adjustable wing, Goodridge braided steel lines (also have an extra set).



SAFETY/COMFORT: Cobra Suzuka composite Racing seat, Autopower Rollbar, Schroth Racing Harness,

Works billet shift ****. Stock Recaro Passenger seat.

This Car is set-up to Run in NASA Time Trials TTA. All it needs to be a fully legal race car is full Cage and Fire system, Window nets, and a fuel cell. The suspension was fully sorted by John Mueller and is very neutral and predictable. The car is easy to drive quickly. The cost of duplicating the modifications alone would be Approximately 17,000, and that is not including most of the labor. All routine maintenance has been done religiously, oil changed after every track event. Much of the service has been performed at WORKS. A great track car for a good price. Joe Brazil at Subaru Specialists is very familiar with the car if you want to ask questions regarding how well it was maintained (meticulously!!).

Its the silver car 2nd car down on th epage. Ignore the 25,000 asking price in the ad...I need to sell this car. As you can see, the car has about 17,000 in mods in it. It's capable of going 2:00 flat or below at t-hill with just a decent driver. I've gone 2:04 without pushing it on RA-1's. GREAT track car for someone that is looking for a non-daily driver (or daily driver if you want to put the carpet and headliner back in!).
