FS: 2005 CGM STI. 37K on chassis needs new motor. Price drop!
Hello all well its a sad sad day for me but the time has come for me to sell my baby. The car is currently sitting with a blown built motor that has appx 3,500 miles on it at EQ tuning. I was having a little to much fun on my E85 tune in 6th gear and my 35R spewed oil through the seals taking the motor out in the process. I have neither the time or money to rebuild the motor.
The good:
-Only 37K on the chassis/Drivetrain.
-6 speed shifts smooth with no issues.
-RCE yellow springs
-Cusco rear sway
-Custom topfeed aeromotive fuel rail setup with 2200 cc Injector dynamics -injectors
-Aeromotive FPR
-Aeromotive hard wired Fuel pump.
-ACT 6 puct clutch
-V2 accessport setup for speed density with EQ E85 tune
- Custom front mount setup
- Bridgestone S4 pole position tires 235/45/17 with 500 miles, on stock BBS.
-Boost/EGT gauges.
-Rotated headers/up-pipe/Downpipe all thermal coated.
-Brembos and rest of drivetrain is perfect.
-Interior like new.
-More I am forgetting but that is the meat and potatoes!!!
The Bad:
-Blown Motor, will need new pistons. Rods good. It was the EQ tuning stage 2+ block with the turbo tuff "I" beam manley rods.
-One of the heads will need work
-35R is shot so a new turbo will be needed.
I am asking 13K for the car, which I think is fair considering once you rebuilt the motor you will have a high 10 second street car. I am willing to negotiate so if you have a trade or a serious let me know.
The car made 475WHP/465WTQ on EQ's low reading dyno and was an absolute beast, spinning into 4th
Call me at 707-718-4475 with questions or if you would like to check out the car.
If I cannot sell as is I will sell off all my parts and try to put back to stock.
Car is located in Fairfield CA.
Thanks for looking!!!

Pics are pretty easy. Use a host like photobucket or another one and just copy the "img" code into the thread. Or you can use the i-club built in feature. Would enjoy seeing pics of this beast.
