FS: 2001 2.5 RS 27k mi 5sp Metro DC area
Hey folks,
I am selling my dark blue 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS with 27,300 miles. This car has the 5 speed manual transmission. I live in Sterling, VA, which is within the metro DC area. The car is bone stock and comes with the following options:
-Sunroof
-Carbon fiber trim for center console
-Factory alarm/keyless entry
I'm not 100% sure if the non-upgraded stereo comes with a subwoofer under the driver's seat, so if that's standard, then I have the base stereo, if not, I have the Premium Sound Package 3.
The car is STILL under manufacturer's warranty. It was bought in either September or October(running out soon), so should you buy it, you would have all of August to get anything taken care of under warranty. The car is perfect of course, but that's peace of mind for you. If want to get an extended warranty, they're often cheaper when the MFR. warranty is still in effect.
The car has been very well maintained, and is in great shape. It currently has AVS Intermediate tires on it, which are much better than the RE92s in my opinion. The price is $14,750. Please e-mail me at alexm42@hotmail.com if you have any questions.
I have one pic available, though I can get more if necessary.

Most dealerships will, at a rock bottom, offer about $10k for it. That's the "I want it gone NOW" price. I don't think aside from very high mileage models you're going to find anyone looking to go below that - simply because they can get more with no hassle from a dealer.
If you got 8k to spend, why not look a bit more in your price range? There's plenty of great cars at that price point, and I think you'd have better luck than if you keep posting here.
Not a flame by the way, just curious why you seem to be so optimistic on getting a 2.5 RS for $8k

i dont know the financial situation of the seller, thus I offer payment in cash. And as a matter of fact, i am looking for a high mialage impreza, some problems are ok, as long as the car never been hit. I think 7-8k is a good price range for a 100k mile impreza.
Yes, your car does not fall into that category, but you know what they say, dedication wins the race.
