FS: 02 Vishnu Signature Series WRX (Silver)
Vishnu Signature Series 2002 Silver WRX Project Car for Sale - $24K.
. This car was featured in Sport Compact Car magazine's “Spank the STI - Tuned WRX vs. STI” (http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/ro...s/0308scc_sti/). This car was built to perform well at the street and on the track. The latest numbers: 0-60 in 4.3seconds, 1/4 mile - 12.6@110.7mph (w/ lousy 2.0 60' launch ... trap speed says 12.2-12.3 is possible), 200’ skidpad - .97g, 700’ slalom – 71.9mph, 60-0 braking - 110’. The only reason why I'm letting the project car go is that I've started another project. Most BAIC people know that I’m building GC8 Track-Only car.
. To this point, over $15K has been invested in the car (not to mention the countless hours Shiv has spent tuning it). The engine is running stronger now, than it has ever before (personally validated by Shiv). Regular oil changes were performed every 3000-4000 miles, using only Mobil-1 Synthetic. The car is a model year 2002 and has 45,000 miles (lots of trip down from SJ to LA). A new clutch and transmission was installed at 42,000 miles. The synchros of the new transmission are very smooth and with no clutch shutter issues. Both front wheel hubs were replaced under Subaru warranty, which is nice, since they have been known to have issues at times. The S-03 tires were installed at 42,500 miles.

This is the type of car that can be driven on trips, to work or school, and can compete with the best of other streetable cars at the drags, auto-x, or road course, or even Car and Driver Magazine's One Lap of America event with little or no tweaking to engine management or suspension.
A great car for someone that wants a fast dependable daily driver.
