2005 Saab 9-2x Aero is up for sale. "Red Rocket"
As many people know, this car is basically identical to a 2005 WRX wagon, just a bit nicer/quieter inside and looks a whole lot better.

To those that don't know, it has the exact same drivetrain and the vast majority of all other parts as the WRX. The differences that make it a better car are in:
-exterior bodywork (better and more unique looks than OEM Subaru design)
-suspension (firmer springs, softer struts), aluminum A-arms
-steering (has STI steering rack)
-more sound deadening (making the car quieter)
-4 year/50K miles bumper to bumper warranty
There are also other small differences that don't really matter much (like slightly different location of the battery, washer fluid reservoir in the engine compartment, etc).

Basically a better looking WRX wagon, which is unique (you don't see many of them on the roads) and works much better with the females! They're ready to drop their panties when they find out you drive a 'Saab'.
While you know that it will perform great and has the reliability, performance, and AWD of the Subaru that you know and like.
You win on both counts!

With the introduction aside, since everyone on here knows what the car is and capable of, I'm not going to go into technical detail or standard options.


Important Highlights/Things you'll ask:
-5sp manual transmission
-36.9K miles
-optional Cold Weather package - heated front seats, side mirrors, and windshield
-clear title, no liens, ready for easy transfer to you immediately
-great condition inside and out (look at pics to see yourself... there are a few scratches here and there, but nothing that stands out - exception being a scratch on top of the rear bumper)
-the only imperfection on the interior is that the previous owner sprayed some liquid on the silver center console plastic and it has dark spots on it. It's purely cosmetic. I offer 2 options to go about this:
a) I will replace all of that center plastic with brand new pieces from the dealer for no additional cost to you (included in the price).
b) I will give you $300 off the price of the car if you take it as it is. You can save the cash for something more meaningful and either live with the spots or just repaint the plastic (flat black looks great) for a few bucks worth of paint and some of your time.
-no damage to anything, needs nothing (30K mile service has been done at the dealer. 34K oil change was done as well)
-never modified, completely stock all it's life. It's been a commuter/daily driver and not a race car.
-one more year and 13K miles left on the factory warranty
-2 owner car
-located in Nanuet, NY (zip 10954). That is about 20-30 mins north of NYC


Edmunds used car values (private party) says $17K for 05 9-2x and $16.7K for 05 WRX in good condition.

I want to sell quickly, so I say $15,900.
