White 2003 WRX sedan FS w/Pics
-2003 WRX sedan 5-speed
-Aspen White
-Rear wing
-Center armrest extension/storage
-Alarm upgrade
-Factory installed short-shift kit
-28,400 miles
Minus file:
-Five (minor) dings, three with no paint breaks and none on body lines
-Some rock chips on front
-Bottom of front bumper is scraped
-One minor scratch to bottom right side of rear bumper (touched up)
Plus file:
-No accidents
-Never any paint work
-Perfect interior
-Everything works
-7,000-8,000 miles remaining on bumper-to-bumper warranty, 23,000-24,000 miles remain on powertrain warranty (still have option to extend warranty)
-Two sets of wheels:
-Stock 16s (very nice) with all-season Bridgestone RE92s (with plenty of life left)
-Prodrive 18-inch P1s in Anthracite (ZERO damage) and worn out 225/40ZR18s
-H&R lowering springs
-Wheel locks
-Factory Momo aluminum/leather shift ****, will include original ****.
-Oil switched at 400-ish miles, to Synthetic Mobil 1
-Oil changed every 5000 miles
-Mostly freeway miles as I "reverse" commute to Novato from SF
-Never over 4000 rpm when cold
-No boost for the last 3-4 miles before shut down, every time
-Never abused (ALWAYS two-finger pressure shifted, heel-and-toed, etc)
-Never tracked
-Never chipped or reflashed
-Runs perfectly
-Two adult drivers
Take it or leave it:
-Trunk badging removed
-Stock springs in the H&R box
-Four extra stock struts with less than 5,000 miles
KBB says a WRX in excellent condition with 28,000 miles is worth $19,700 private party. I'd take $500 off or so to cover the cosmetic blemishes, but then I am willing to throw in the Prodrives (which were $350 each and are as new) to make the"excellent" price -- and this car is Excellent. So I'm asking for the full $19,700 with both sets of wheels and the springs/struts. I will, however, drop my asking price into the mid 18s if the buyer doesn't want the Prodrive wheels.
I bought this car new because I felt I didn't want to buy a WRX that was used or abused. This one hasn't been, and I am only selling it because my wife and I are buying a Boxster for our last years before kids enter the picture.
Three last things:
1. Please don't contact me to buy the P1s separately
2. I am located in San Francisco. My email is excmag@yahoo.com. Cell phone is (415) 999-6403. Or PM me.
3. Yes, I know my price is high, but those who appreciate a car that's been treated with mechanical sympathy (and few WRXs are) will appreciate this car...
If you're interested, shoot me an offer. If not, sorry if I've wasted your time!
Thanks!!!
