93 Legacy Turbo For Sale, CT
Hello all,
I have for sale my white 1993 Legacy Turbo sedan (automatic unfortunately). I purchased this car 3.5 years ago from the 2nd owner (a family), who had purchased the car from a Subaru nut who took very good care of the car. Last summer, the reverse gear of the transmission went so I had to garage it on blocks this past winter. The car also needs a new front (right) axle joint and a full tune up. Other than that car is in excellent condition for a rare 1993 turbo. It has 157,000 miles on it. Modifications include:
- hi-flow cat w/ 2.5" custom exhaust with Ractive carbon fiber muffler
-turbo XS manual boost controller
-auto meter boost gauge
-GFB WRX pulley kit
-K&N filter
-cut the snorkel out of the box and ran an intake from the air duct (where fog lights would go) up to the air box
-95-99 Legacy special edition outback rims ( 5 spoke rim with gold highlights in between spokes)
So, this car would be an awesome tuner car and perfect for a manual swap. I've been quoted for the manual swap from a local guy who works on Subarus and had done the swap before on a Legacy for $1500 (not sure how reliable that is but still worth calling again), which is an incredible price. I waited to do the axle because you must take out the axle when doing the transmission so it would be less work to change it while its out. I was qouted $350 for that. The reason I haven't done the work myself is because I'm a independent young adult paying for college myself. I'm a harding working, honest guy who is looking for someone to buy this and appreciate the car as much as I did. I wish I had the money to pay for this myself but going into my senior year of college, my loans are topping $50,000. I've invested too much money into this car to see it go to waste. I'm selling it for $2000 o.b.o ($1000 worth of mods alone). I live in northeast, CT. The car can drive, but must be driven slowly and cannot go into reverse. I will post pictures as soon as I take them. Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.
P.S. I've been a long member of I-Club...but I had to recently register because I had not registered since I-Club made the switch over to the new format(which was a long time ago).

I finally took pictures of my car. I forgot how nice it was to drive this car especially after driving my 1990 Volvo station wagon. I made a mistake, the legacy only has 147,050 miles NOT 156 grand. Here is the photo album with 29 pictures:
