2002 WRX, Blaze Yellow, C-West: $14,000!
Selling my 2002 Blaze Yellow WRX -- Price lowered to $14,000!!!
63,300 miles -- mostly driving between SF and LA.
Full C-West Body Kit - $1750
KartBoy Short-Shifter - $125
Subaru Logo Titanium Shift **** - $100 +-
Blitz Stainless Intake - $279
Custom B-Spec Exhaust, Carbon Fiber/Stainless - $700
Up-Pipe - $229 +-
Extrude-Honed Turbo - $200 +-
Eibach Lowering Springs
Toyo Tires - $400 +-
17" Advan Model 6 Wheels, White - $2000
Directional Rearview Mirror - $150 +-
Aftermarket side mirrors, black - $200+-
Limited Edition, Blaze Yellow (butter-color)
If you want the car with stock wheels and tires, take off an additional $500 (with exchange). Don't want the C-West kit? Take off another $500. Without the body kit and Advans, the price is only $13,000!
This car has been featured in the Toyo tent at several races, as well as the SpeedVision tent for the American Le Mans race in Sonoma. With the C-West body kit, the white Advans and the blaze yellow color, the car receives it's share of thumbs-up. Why am I selling? I have a new member in my family, a blue pit, "Big Dutch" and he wants a hatchback!
If you are serious and have the finances, please e-mail me with an offer. If you have questions, please post here.
If I do not sell the car, then I will be selling the aftermarket parts, for 50% with exchange, but that is my last choice. I would do that in order to wholesale as a stock car.
Thanks so much!

I have lowered the price to $14,000. Please contact me if you have any questions. The car is in great shape, but no longer suits my lifestyle. Hopefully, someone can benefit from the lower price! Thanks.

I will wait until November 15, because if I don't sell it before, I may take it to SEMA in Vegas with a Sale Sign on it (November 4-7). Where in the mid-West are you? I'm not sure what shipping is, but probably around $300 (or you and dad could fly here and drive it back home). I've priced it very low because I do want to sell it before the holidays. I've had a blast with this car, and have had it on display at several shows. I'm a female and over 40, and I am constantly asked if it's my "son's car". If your dad would like to ask me specific questions regarding the car, I'm sure I could speak with a reasonable degree of intelligence about it, having owned a 2.5 RS prior to buying the wrx. I also still own a 93 completely built Impreza, boasting huge horsepower and completely custom throughout. I have not seen a nice wrx at this price, so I hope someone here will be able to take advantage of it. Once you experience the joy of driving a turbo ... you'll be hooked!
I'll post another picture here, if I can.
You or Dad can call me, if you'd like to come to terms.

Thanks, guys!
I actually don't know of anyone else who has ported the turbo, but everything moves through really smoothly, so I'm a believer! I've added a modest amount of horsepower, without endangering my tranny. I hope I don't find it boring to drive a non-turbo car ... but maybe I'll end up with a turbo-wagon, eventually!
I appreciate the kind bumps here, and the compliments as well. Thanks again, guys!

So DWNSHFT what is that suppose to mean?
Hey Vicky, sorry to keep you waiting, but as of right now, things are looking up for me. So if you plan on selling it to someone more suitable than me, by all means. I don't want you to bother waiting for me anymore. Thanks for your time, take care now.
P.S. I really like you car, as much as i wanted it. Thanks again, i appreciate your time.
Sincerely,
Mike

The car is sold.
The dealership offered me $14,500 so I am taking it. At the same time, Bill offered to sell me his 1987 Subaru Brat with a campershell and pass-through to cab -- perfect for me and Big Dutch (my blue pitbull). I'm paying cash, so even though I'll miss my yellow wrx, I'll be car-payment free! Later on, when I have more cash, I'll very likely buy a wrx wagon cuz I know I'm going to miss my turbo. In the meantime, I still have one Subaru for sale (though I'm not actively advertising right now), and that's the 1993 Impreza, fully built. If anyone is interested in a very high-performance Subaru (very big horsepower), let me know. I'm selling it for the cost of parting-out ($15,000).
By the way, you're right about Puck -- the only way he'd be rolling a Subaru, would be literally . He's more suited to a thrasher car, like his 1964 Dune Buggy!
I'm going to Sema for a couple of days (crewing with www.TwinsTurbo.com) and Puck may be hanging with us there. Hope to see any of you there. Unfortunately, Big Dutch has to stay home -- Sema doesn't allow dogs in the pit-crew!
Thanks for all your help and interest!
