I bought the car 2 years ago from a 69-year old gentleman who loves Subarus. The car is clean and in great running condition. My mileage was mostly from commuting (25 miles each way) and ski trips to Tahoe (200 miles each way). The car has plenty of power & the torque starts very low in the RPM range. Passing SUV’s on the way to Tahoe is effortless. The previous owner installed a thicker rear Anti-sway bar that improves on the already great handling characteristics of the 2.5RS. If you plan on taking this car to the snow, I have a set of Dunlop Winter Sport M2 snow tires mounted on 15” Subaru Legacy wheels that I’ll include for $300 extra.
The bads: 1) Tires need to be replaced. 2) The front bumper could use a new paint job. The original owner scraped up the lower right corner & touched it up fairly poorly. 3) The left front fog light lens is cracked, but still perfectly functional. 4) There are a few very small dings on the car, typical of a 4-year old car. 5) There are small rock chips behind the right front tire from when yours truly thought he’d play rally driver in a dirt parking lot…
