Recently on our local TV news, they talked about a lot of scams going on with selling "Katrina" cars. Basically, cars under water for a period of time, cleaned up, and being sold after the hurricane. Gee Maude, what's that smell?????

What agencies do we report this guy to. He's using these pics to scam people out of alot of money! Any advice everybody!!!! I have seen this car sold many time. Since you guys told him he had florida plates, he took them out now!

What can we do to get this guy, I have a few email from him from his older ads. But I doubt any are real till you get a paypal account and might have an ideo then! Plu s I think the people who were suckerd need to come forawrd to report it too. It's impossible! Peace!

I know this is really old and i'm not sure how i found this thread; sorry.
I'm sorry I know this is from an old thread but did this guy really sell you an 06 sti with a clean title for 18K? If he did I'm putting a bullet in my foot! I just started getting into subaru's during the time of his sale and didn't know what an sti was vs. a wrx... I bought a wrx cause i could only afford a car that was about 20K-25K and if sold an STI for 18K I will be very upset (with myself) and happy for you.

all this guy is doing is that he is stealing the pics off e bay and posting the ad himself, hopefully getting somebody to bite. Even getting a $2K payment, and then bailing.
He stole the pic from a powerseller on E bay, which would suck for someone if they went and paid for it.

I have a 06 WRX STI for sale at the price of $18,000. Yes that is 18k, it is not a mistype.
The car was never involved in any kind of accidents; I have a clean title, no liens, and no other payments.
