WRX '02 stock seats. nice shape 10k miles, or so
WRX '02 Carpet
BFG G-Force Tires 6k miles, or so
Escort Passport Radar mounted descreatly above the rearview
Farily new wheel bearings on at least 3 of 4 wheels
Alpine CD/Mp3 disc player
Some crazy amp in the back powering all speakers (1 of the rears is out)
HKS Turbo Timer (not neccessary, i know... but it does have other nice features, and it lights up... haha)
+more random bits I can't think of now
things i have, but aren't on car as of now:
genuine STI fog covers
whiteline steering bushings -brand new
kartboy diff bushings -brand new
3" converter for hushback -brand new
Black ESDEPO headlights -brand new
used green wingless trunklid
extra set of black stock rims w/ crappy tires you'll wanna get rid of (rims are in fine shape, but have paint chips. they'll love the winter)
05 STI steering wheel
2 extra door cards (the ones on there now are a little scratched)
stock seats (I was gonna use the tracks off the bottom to lower WRX seats)
I've been waiting around for the new AP to come out so I could get it tuned. Not sure when that/if that will ever happen.
It runs great... No problems, and completely reliable. It has been my daily driver for the last 3 years (first had an '02 WRX swap) until I got the v7 swap a few months back. Now it's the weekend warrior, but I would absolutely trust it across the country and back a few times without hesitation.
The CE engine light is on because of a heater sensor and possibly 02 sensor. Just a wiring issue that can be fixed before it is sold. It was off when it was first swapped, and even passed IL emissions! A/C blows cold. Cruise is not hooked up (not sure that it can be). Gas gauge only reads to 1/4 tank... only ran outta gas once in 3 years!
All work relavent to how the car sits now was done by Dylan Petersen @ DS1 Motorsports (www.ds1motorsports.com)- the only person I would ever allow to touch any car of mine, especially any Subaru.
It's boosting about 10-12 lbs right now, and is running great. An Ecutek tune would unleash this best to it's fullest potentail in an instant! but the only licensed ecutek dealer in the area is a garage i wouldn't trust to change my oil. Therefore, I'm stuck waiting until the new AP comes out if I want local support.
The biggest problem with the body is that it needs a new rear quarter on the passenger side. Well, it doesn't need it, but at some point before I owned the car, it was damaged here, and they bondo'd it up. They resprayed some other parts of the car too... I have no idea what happened. The rest is pretty normal body dings. From 15 feet, it looks like a used 01 RS. It could use a full makeover... which will happen if i don't sell it before winter comes.
Car has NEVER been to the track/strip other than to observe others. I have NEVER dumped the clutch. The only time this guy really gets going is on the highway...
Selling is an option at the right price... if I don't sell it, I'll be taking it in this winter for a complete body makeover....
So nothing pressing here, but I thought I throw it out there to see if there was interest...
There isn't an asking price. I'm not entirely sure I want to sell the car, as I've put my heart and soul (and even moreso, my wallet) into this the last 3 years... but if someone offered me 17.5, I'd have a hard time turning it down.
Thanks
-Cody
I'll take some more in the next day or so,
