would you rather have a turbo 99 rs or wrx
im just trying to see what other people have to say. would you rather have a 99 2.5 rs or wrx. i currently have a rs and dont know if i want to turbo it or just get a wrx. please tell me why you would rather have either the rs or wrx

i think i will keep the rs
i think im just going to keep the rs and install a turbo, anybody looking to sell a kit in a month or so? also, what would be a safe psi to push, ive been told different numbers, some say between 6-8 others say 10 is perfect on my stock engine. all i have is a exhuast. would a wrx motor swap be better than buying a kit?

It depends on what other mods you have. The WRX has a sportier suspension and a slightly nicer intterior, MOMO wheel, bolstered seats. Also it is newer. I would have to say it comes down to money.

I owned a 2000 RS and sold it to buy a WRX Wagon. IMO RS' handle better than WRX's. They are about 300 lbs lighter and you can feel the difference.
I considered turboing it but the extra space, warrantied turbo and reliability that goes along with are tough to argue with.
The RS was a better looking car IMO and much more uncommon.
If you're willing and able to work on it and can accept the inevitable down time when it's in the shop, having a turboed GC8 RS would be cool.

I think the RS is a better looking car (from the outside). IMO, if you're a mechanic, or have ready access to one, or are rich, turbo the RS. Otherwise, get a WRX.
