Why the redesign???

don't quote me or anything on this but i heard they were trying to get a more femine market. So they redesigned it to appeal more towards the women also.

I'm pretty sure that it is what HondaH8er said; in Japan and other countrys the buggeyed version wasnt selling as well as the previous GC8 due to the fact that 1. it didnt look that good 2. It was hevier and 3. There was no coupe. Along with this was the agressive factor and the fact thatmost comanys want to keep the same sort of "look" throughout their model line and the bugeyes did not fit in at all. Correct me if I am wrong but thats what I bet happened.
