I personally do not like the 350Z at all. The rear end still looks wierd to me and the interior is really cheap and plastic. It has decent power but then it's not a light car either. On the upside, girls like the 350Z.

IMO - Not worth the money.
Cons
- Slow.
- Handling is alright.
- Gas mileage is gonna work you down.
Pros
- Will definetly turn some heads
- A turbo kit will make it a monster
Just my 2 cents.

I love it too. I am used to having the turbo kick in and pull me back at 3K rpm. You don't get that with the 350. You can't see jack in the 350 (rear view, side view). But the pluses is that it's RWD and 2 seater and it's a blast to drive. I drifted it a little during a test drive and even the sales guy was smiling.
Anyway, I didn't buy it because they were only going to give me $14500 for my 02 trade in with only 33K miles.
Beginning of the year, I could get an 05 Enth. out the door for $29500. So I figure you should be able to get a better deal for the 05 now that the 06 are coming.

car is ok stock. It def. needs some aftermarket assistance. I drove my friend's conv 350z before and after I worked on it. Suspension was ok stock but felt a lot better with Cusco zero2s on it. Yes, it is a lil tough to see out of the rearview mirror. I did get used to driving the car one day in SF. I had to turn off the traction control when I drove it. It was annoying. Interior is ok. For every car, I believe you can only ask for so much until you're paying $150k +++. I wouldn't mind buying one as it is a headturner. Plus I like Nissans...

Get the G35 if the interior on the 350 is making you gag. Personally I like the 350 and would own one if it had more hp out the door, but honestly girls love that car so who gives a crap about how fast you can go, just trade in track time for getting laid. Just my .02

If you don't need any back seats, can afford the insurance and like the style/personality
the the Z, then get it. The G35 Coupe 6MT would be give you two back seats.
Plenty of mods for both cars.
For those that say the Z doesn't have enough HP, then certainly the G35 doesn't
have enough either!? They use essentially the same motor. Is a stock WRX wagon
faster than a G35??? Maybe, maybe not. Certainly the WRX feels faster since
the power delivery is much more raw, while the G35 is smoother.

I like infinitys' but I'm not looking for a sedan, just something fun that looks nice and is fun to drive.
I was considering a C6 or a C5 Z06 - won't be able to afford the C6 Z06.
I also like the looks of the MR2, drove pretty well too....

Antioch - Don't do it man!
But the 350Z is a nice car for what it is. It's perfectly capable. It has a rather cheap looking interior, but the exterior will turn heads. It's just not for everybody.
The G35 coupe, imo, is a much better looking version of the 350Z, plus you get much better rim choices.
I'll trade you longblocks if you're serious though.
