Today, i took the car for the inspection, but since I got eyelids on the headlights, I took it to the mechanic for the sticker. Mechanic calls me like two hours later, saying the my car got hit by someone, and that my mirror is broken and door is badly dented. I was like what a f$#%@^. So he took it to the body shop and damage to my car was about 1500. The good thing is he will pay for cuz itr happened at his shop. But I am really pissed off. You know, if you take care of your car really good, something bad will happen to it, and that is a fact, I think it happened to all of us... anyway it sux

 

I'm glad that the shop owner owned up to the damage and will take care of it. He may eventually pay a higher price for the shop insurance so he isn't getting away with anything through his negligence. It's a shame your car was damaged but at least it shouldn't be anything structural that will affect how it drives or performs.

....i had an 02'gsxr 1000 that i bought tons of parts for,washed it, cleaned it,constantly babied the **** out of it ....and guess what happend?!...some A-hole steals it! wtf?!.....i dont know i guess its easier to destroy something then to create something....i guess

 

people are effing dumb!!! Call me a little protective, but I hardly ever let any one else drive my cars because I either know that they are not that great of a driver, or I have no idea what their driving styles are. Since I have gotten my WRX, no one else besides me has driven it

glad to hear that this horror story actually has a good ending-
i have a buddy in HIIC that never got retributed for damages
done to his car. as a matter of fact the company never owned up
to his damages-

I picked up the car today and everything is fine, thank God.

 

It's all good if the shop is going to pay for it.

 

whew... I am so glad to hear that bro. It just sux to hear of bad news and a bad ending.

 

I don't think this is a shop we should avoid. Yeah it sucks that the car got damaged but the shop owned up to it's mistake and paid for the damages it caused. That to me means a lot. We should avoid shops that damage cars and don't pay for it.

The shop is on rt. 10 in Morris county Whippany, it's actually a gas station Mobil.
They did pay for it, but I won't ever go back to them

 

Not really, goes on CarFax if he didn't take it to a slimeballs shop, detracts from the value of the car.
