it was a oneoff for the baja prototype,everything was custom
fabed.

To WRX_Reed: Thanks for the treatise on s/chargers v. turbos. Just to fill in: When I left our Uncle in 1959 I was a PO 2C Engineman (Diesel) and I ran a few of those craft and I still miss the smell. Yes, they were reliable and I never threw a belt. HP was governed by the size of the injectors, and they ones I worked with were low-hp for training purposes. Also they turned about 2500 rpm max, as I remember. That basic block was used by GM for many, many years, and like the jeans, you can't bust em.
