if you supercharge the engine you will not have any lag as someone else has already stated, but there will be parasetic drag obviously...with a turbo theres no drag but then you have to deal with lag...its mostly personal preference i guess...

Dunno if the 4-banger's gonna be able to handle the parasitic drag like awns mentioned. But a supercharged H6 now...
