it could happen. there are many 'stangs out there that are really fast. but not for only $500. plus the awd system on suby's is known for a lot of under steer.

I have met the driver of the mach1 before, I can tell you that he is a pro race car driver with 15+ years experience racing. I went on a cruise the other weekend in my friends mach. We followed Aaron, and i can say that he is insane! I own a wrx and i have seen many sti's perform. And there is no way a stock sti will keep up with him. His mach pulls over a G on the skid pad. Quit your *****ing, an STI lost to a mach!.

is it that important to everyone that the sti is supreme? i mean my goodness it's like a pissing contest that will never end!

I witness this on an actual dragstrip. A Mach 1 and STI going at it. STI won @ 12.9, the Mach 1 came in @ 13.5 with a .500 light. Both guys are best friends, but the Mach 1 owner got a lot of flack from us though. He won't be making those Uncle Ben's "Flavaful Rice" remark again.
