STI vs. MACH 1 (Rediculous!)

i don't think it's BS... he's got it lowered on progressive rate springs, and a stiff shocks. He got R-Compounds for christs sake...
I can see he handling just fine a twisty road that isn't like all 10mph hairpins, or something that's not mt hamilton. It would hand an STi it's *** on a road like hwy 9.

That's okay - Hot Rod Magazine did a drag and road race test of the STi vs the stronger-than-Mach1 Cobra Mustang and the STi bested it in most categories.

It takes very little modifications to make the Mach handle pretty well... Not to mention very little costs...under $500.00 for the suspension mods..tires we're way more :spinem:"

I took a Mach1 that was dropped and basic boltons on the downhill on the back of 9 pretty hard the other week. Although that is the same road where some guy in a 91 celica ST raped me. I've caught up on an STI on that same road, but then he hit the straight and broadened that gap, and I gave up.

well, not raped by the definition of the law, but more like in the sense where I got out driven by a person who didnt feel the need to use his brakes and was supposedly a driver for signal auto and that he ran the most perfect line I have ever witnessed in my life on that road.

werd... after the conversation i had with a mach-11 owner and his wrx buddy last friday... i think that if this is a true story, then it is a rare one. but with ra-1's it's believeable.
