hahaha. that short "movie" is a bad influence. has the guy going over 100 while street racing. not to mention pulling 180's and driving way too aggressively. tsk tsk.
i'm guessing the srt-4 really can beat the wrx though it would be really close. anyone know how the neon's tranny holds up against the wrx's weak one?

Supposedly it has the Mopar after market BOV. I was also thinking today whilst driving around aimlessly (I'm a student, I have time for that kind of ****), the SRT has a FMI, but it also has a little hood scoop. What the hell is it for? Not like they have an intercooler behind it. I guess just more stupid **** that doesn't do anything. Hood scoops are only cool if they actually do something!
Also the WRX in that video was modded, and according to some guy on NASIOC who said it was his car, the production guys "had a hard time keeping it from beating the Dodge."

Yeah, this guy looked at an SRT-4 at the dealership. So that hood scoop is just to cool the turbo cause its buried so far back? Or is it the actual air intake for the engine? Like some sort of wannaba "ram air" thing? Which would be funny, cause the whole "ram air" concept really doesn't do anything for the engine inless your going over 100mph (or so I've heard).

SRT-4 Has more power, less weight, and a bigger engine, ON THE SAME TURBO...
Trust me, if grip wasn't such an issue, it would be the SRT-4 smoking the WRX.
This is the truth...
Trust me, I hate that car, and love Subarus, but that's just the damn truth...

Sure the dodge is fast and whatever but did you see the mpg it gets? I was reading road & track...or was it sport compact (i think it was last months issue) and the guys who tested it drove it for about 300 miles and were only able to get 14mpg out of it. Dont know bout you but speed is something i WOULD sacrifice for decent gas mileage nowadays. $2.40 for a gal of premium in CA aint no joke for a broke *** college student.
And whats with power windows in front and manual in back??? Talk about saving weight and keepin costs down....
