Wow, that's really not fast at all...
Supercharged and Intercooled?
I used to have a Saturn (didn't buy it myself, was high school, and my mom's car). They're wicked slow, but they DO have a super stiff chassis, and are actually pretty good autocross cars.

Looks ugly but i mean if you could talk the car down to sa 18k that would be too bad of a car for someone who doesnt have alot of money and wants something peppy. Good for maybe a college car?

Whether it is a saturn or not, it does have the Ecotec series engines which are descendents from GM's Opel division in Europe.
There is much experience with the Ecotec making 230whp turbocharged and properly tuned, with great reliability. GM actually warantees a supercharger kit for the engine currenly available in Cavaliers and Sunfires!. Pretty non-standard for GM.
Also the GM drag-cars utilizing the Ecotecs use many stock parts, a greater percentage of stock parts than are used on any honda or DSM engine.

Its not that ugly, personally i think my car's a monstrosity compared to most cars.
Decent wing height (don't know if its functional) headlights are are wierdly shaped, side profile looks good, and the bumper looks almost porche-esqe. Its not to fast to be sure, but its not a slug either, i'd say this and the new tiburon are both very appropriate cars for people on a budget or first time drivers that want some pep in their ride. Decent mileage too is a definate plus (this one's city is my highway......on paper.....i get like 20 hwy crusing at 75 or so)
Like LukeSTi said, the ecotec are pretty solid engines.
